ANALYST/PROGRAMMER (Analyst/Programmer - Expert)

Under general direction, incumbent will utilize the advanced and comprehensive knowledge of the area to provide proactive independent expertise to develop solutions to highly complex problems of broad ranges that combine information and ideas in new and unprecedented ways. Work involves on-going technical and analytic support for enterprise-wide computing applications in support of the core University business processes. Primary focus of this position is advanced and comprehensive program analysis, code development, administration, and support of the Common Management System (CMS)/PeopleSoft (PS) Financial Aid software application. Incumbent will provide expert technical support, coordinate, implement, and test system modifications, develop code, create documentation, and participate in CSU wide strategic planning of system enhancements.
Requires the equivalent to a bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, educational technology, communications or a related field
Three years of full-time equivalent experience related to application development and support.
Experience must include programming work on PeopleSoft HR/CS application.

Incumbent will need to be able to perform the essential job functions (duties) of this position with or without
reasonable accommodation. This position alternates between remaining in a stationary position operating a personal
computer for long periods of time and frequently moving about inside the office. Must be able to travel across campus to
other offices and buildings on campus for meetings and events.
Position involves frequent interaction with campus community and other members of the Information Resources organization, and with functional and technical members of the campus community. Work is performed in a typical, open office environment with cubicles or segregated office space, and will be operating standard office equipment.
