Seattle Colleges is preparing to transition to the software system PeopleSoft, and this exciting update requires a great deal of planning and preparation. Community and technical colleges throughout the state of Washington are preparing for this change, with implementation of the new software referred to as ctcLink . The Campus Solutions (CS) Process Specialist position is an important part of this transition process and supports the Seattle College District's ctcLink implementation as well as a number of student success technology projects.
The CS Process Specialist provides leadership on the student services aspects of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions implementation in support of the ctcLink Project Director. This position will champion the development of standardized and efficient processes across student services in support of ctcLink and student success technologies. This will require working closely and collaboratively with State Board employees, external consultants, and instructional and student services leadership at each college.
The CS Process Specialist will facilitate configuration of the Recruiting & Admissions, Academic Advisement, Campus Community, Student Records, Financial Aid, and Student Self-Service modules. The CS Process Lead will also collaborate with project team members on Academic Structure and Student Financials configuration.
Continued funding for this position is based on project funding.
This position is a non-represented, full-time exempt position.

Change Management: Lead and facilitate teams of subject-matter experts (SMEs) across SCD in mapping existing processes, developing best practices, and creating and documenting new standardized processes in support of ctcLink and student success technologies. Create or update walkthroughs and Quick-Resource-Guides. Foster problem-solving skills within process teams.
Facilitation: Plan and facilitate business process alignment workshops that provide change management activities in support of ctcLink and student success technologies and externally in support of ctcLink Common Process Development.
Configuration: Facilitate configuration of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules in collaboration with State Board staff and subject-matter-experts across the Seattle College District. Facilitate creation of CS security matrix. Support and coordinate configuration of student success technologies.
Training: Lead end-user training for assigned Campus Solutions modules. Collaborate with the Project Director and SMEs from various Student Services functions to assign training leads to each module area. Assist SMEs during end-user training as appropriate. Assist in development of training plans and resources.
Optimization: After PeopleSoft GoLive, work to improve the newly developed processes across student services.
Validation & Testing: Work with the State Board, the ctcLink project manager, and the CS Data Lead to assist in coordinating and completing data validation.
Required Education, Experience & Abilities:
- 7+ years of experience working in student services or client services in a large, complex organization.
- 3+ years of experience in Washington State's community & technical college system.
- Experience leading design of new practices and processes in student services.
- Experience successfully collaborating across locations, functions, etc.
- Ability to facilitate thoughtful and high stakes discussion with student services stakeholders around design and reinvention of processes.
- Ability understand business requirements (legal compliance, enrollment, service, etc.) across the student services and instructional environment at Seattle Colleges.
