Campus/Location: Rose Hill (RH) - Bronx

Position Summary
Supervises, trains, and closely monitors the performance of subordinates to ensure the highest quality of service to be rendered to our students, faculty, and staff.

Essential Functions
Reviews all Incident Reports and preliminary investigations by tour Duty Supervisors and begin investigations into matters requiring additional follow up work.
Makes recommendations based on your investigative findings relative to patterns, trends or any individual who pose possible future threats to anyone within the University Community.
At the direction of the Associate Vice President initiates trauma- sensitive and internal investigations and bring them to successful completion.
Investigates Title IX reports and forwards completed investigations to the University Title IX Coordinator or Designated Deputy Title IX Administrators, Deans of Students.
Possesses knowledge of Federal, State and Local laws, including case law specific to Title IX matters.
Completes investigations to include your interviews with complainants, witnesses, any relevant subjects/individuals, respondents and a detailed report of evidence, including all available technology resources reviewed.
Responds to all relevant locations, including hospital emergency rooms, to gather relevant information to complete the investigation.
Works closely with Public Safety colleagues, and all University colleagues.
Works closely with local/state law enforcement investigators ensuring professional cooperation to obtain fact-based results.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree: however, demonstrated accomplishments in prior investigative work will be considered.
