This position requires a high degree of tact and sensitivity in working with students, faculty, and staff on campus as well as with parents and members of the Chico community. Works independently and collaboratively under general supervision, incumbent performs a variety of complex administrative duties in support of the Health Services staff which includes the Health Center, and limited support to CADEC and the Counseling and Wellness Center. Work involves addressing concerns and facilitating resolutions to issues which require interpreting policies, procedures and using ingenuity to accomplish responsibilities. Incumbent provides office coordination for the Health Center, assists in oversight of the budget. Provides administrative support for the SHS Director and Clinic Administrator, and coordinates SHS participation in events. This position works closely with ASA II. Serves as a liaison for Human Resource related questions and issues and outreach to other campus and community offices. The incumbent must be able to develop a wide knowledge of campus policies and operating procedures and be able to maintain positive professional contact with all members of the campus community. Provides work direction and assignments to student employees.
