Job Summary:
University Extended Education (UEE) collaborates with University departments to provide educational programs and extend the University's resources to the community and around the world. UEE is searching for an Operations Analyst (Administrative Analyst/Specialist-Non-Exempt). The Operations Analyst (Administrative Analyst/Specialist-Non-Exempt) should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind that is characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.

Under the general supervision of the Associate Dean, Strategic Operations, and working closely with the Associate Dean, Innovation and Engagement and the Dean's Office administrative team, the Operations Analyst plans, oversees and executes the workflow and responsibilities related to the administrative, operational and programmatic work of University Extended Education/International Programs and Global Engagement (UEE/IPGE) units, In the purview of the Associate Dean, Strategic Operations, duties include, but not limited to, student recruitment, marketing, communications, and information technology. Works directly and independently with other UEE/IPGE leads to maintain and improve efficient operations, implement best practices and develop goals and objectives for the unit, while exercising discretion and independent judgment. Acts as Notary Public for UEE/IPGE. Acts as lead to student assistant(s). Other duties as assigned.


Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving the study, analysis, evaluation, development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs. Working knowledge of the general practices, program or administrative specialty. Basic knowledge of and the ability to apply fundamental concepts. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures. Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program, organizational unit or administrative specialty. Knowledge of and the ability to apply basic methods and procedures used for research and statistical analysis. Ability to analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques. Ability to make independent decisions, exercise sound judgment, handle multiple priorities, and organize and plan work assignments. Ability to compile, write, and present reports related to program or administrative specialty. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Notary Public license or willingness to obtain within first 6 months of appointment.

Possible open, shared work-space; frequent interruptions.

Occasional early morning, evening, and weekend hours may be required.
