Responsibilities*
The faculty member will work collaboratively with the Chair to advance academic productivity in topics related to translational science. The faculty will also help develop pathways for academic anesthesiologists to participate in the translational process. Duties also include obtaining independent external funding, publishing and presenting results and teaching/mentoring a variety of learners in a research setting.

Required Qualifications*
Ph.D. in the biomedical sciences, experience with translational science, experience with large-scale research initiatives, a record of peer-reviewed publications in relevant scientific journals and evidence of potential to secure external funding for research projects.
