The Department of Physics at Bryn Mawr College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, beginning Assistant Professor position to begin August 1, 2018. We seek an outstanding experimentalist in physics, applied physics or related fields to compliment the department's experimental research programs in atomic physics, condensed matter physics, and plasma physics, as well as theoretical programs in astrophysics and high-energy physics. The successful candidate will contribute to a program that combines teaching courses, seminars and laboratories at all levels with independently defined, externally funded research in collaboration with both undergraduate and graduate students. Ongoing collaborations exist with colleagues in other departments, at neighboring institutions and with institutions across the country and internationally. Candidates must have completed all Ph.D. requirements by the start date. Postdoctoral experience is preferred.
