Basic Function:
This position requires in depth knowledge of metal casting and solidification as well as simulation models for solidification (such as MAGMA), and the fusion of defect data with models and develop a knowledge base.

PhD in the area of mechanical engineering, materials science and engineering, or other relevant areas.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills in both writing, presentations, as well as in negotiating a win win solution with the partners collaborating on the project.
