Position Description
Assistant in the planning and development of various daily business functions for various departments within the athletic organization. Ensure the athletic organization maintains a favorable public and stakeholder perception while fulfilling the organization's strategic mission.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Lead contact for assigned RRC Giving Levels.
    • Build relationships with donors within assigned giving levels.
    • Identify members who can move to the next membership level and solicit on an annual basis for the Excellence Fund.
  • Coordinate the solicitation, promotion, management, and operational aspects of the game day RRC Member parking program.
    • Create and manage overall calendar to include all aspects of the parking program seeking to increase revenue and maximize member parking experience.
    • Seek and develop new donor parking opportunities to enhance game day parking as a member benefit and overall fan satisfaction.
    • Cultivate and steward parking donors through written and verbal communication throughout the year.
    • Manage RRC member parking logistics with campus partners for football, basketball (mens and womens) and baseball.
    • Constantly review and propose any changes to the program, work with campus partners to be proactive with any changes that might affect member parking.
  • Under the direction of the Assistant Athletics Director, coordinate all RRC member benefits.
    • Develop and maintain all membership benefits for RRC members.
    • Seek and develop new member benefit opportunities to enhance value and/or member satisfaction.
    • Ensure that all benefits are being efficiently distributed and received at every level based on an annual plan.
    • Coordinate benefit communications and promotion for members with special emphasis on the value of being a RRC member.
    • Ensure RRC student workers are knowledgeable on RRC benefits.
  • Oversee the growth and retention of the RRC Young Alumni program with specific attention to the New Graduate initiative.
    • Develop and implement the overall communication and operation plan for upcoming graduates and Young Alumni members with the goal of meeting identified retention goal for the following year.
  • Responsible for the management of the Car Coach Program.
    • Cultivate and Steward all Car Coach Donors.
    • Manage all Car Coach details including solicitation, operations and benefit fulfillment in conjunction with the Athletics Business Office.
    • Coordinate all requests through the Athletics Ticket Office request system.
  • Responsible for the management of all Trade and Gift In Kind.
    • Cultivate and Steward all Trade and GIK relationships.
    • Manage all RRC trade/gift in kind details including solicitation, operations and benefit fulfillment in conjunction with the Athletics Business Office.
    • Coordinate all requests through the Athletics Ticket Office request system.
  • Develop a plan and manage new lead generation opportunities for the annual fund.
  • Appear and participate at select RRC donor events and TTU sporting events; may include home football, mens & womens basketball games. All other sporting events as assigned so that Red Raider Club staff has comprehensive event coverage, as business travel allows.
  • Comply with all NCAA, Big 12 and Texas Tech University rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field plus one (1) year related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Paciolan (Ticketing and/or Pac FUND).
  • Ability to communicate with donors and internal constituents both written and verbal.
  • Master's degree and previous experience in intercollegiate athletic fundraising.
