Job Summary
The Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Department of Pediatrics at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan Health System seeks a faculty member at the level of assistant or associate professor to serve as Associate Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship program director. Applicants must be sub-board-certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. The position also includes an expectation of a strong record of academic productivity in clinical, educational, and/or neonatal follow-up research. Faculty members within the Department and Division are actively engaged in research that positively impacts the care of children today and for generations to come. We are consistently among the top academic departments of Pediatrics to receive funding from the National Institutes of Health. Clinical responsibilities are served in the Brandon Newborn Intensive Care Unit, a 52 bed single patient room Level 4 NICU with approximately 1000 annual admissions situated in the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital, an integral part of Michigan Medicine's main medical campus in Ann Arbor.

Required Qualifications*
The ideal candidate will have an MD or DO degree, be Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, and will hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. The candidate will be Neonatal Resuscitation Program certified.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills. Evidence of clinical competence and competence in clinical and didactic teaching is expected.
