Position Summary
The Director of Enrollment provides leadership and is responsible for all marketing, recruitment and admissions operations for the School of Physical Therapy including marketing and communications plans, development of effective recruitment strategies based on assessment of past and current practice, upholding university admissions standards, and working with university offices to successfully matriculate incoming students. Travel nationally to recruitment events. Effectively manage potential applicants using CRM Recruit and actual applicants using PTCAS. Supervise the student ambassadors program.

Description of Job Duties
  • Create and/or update recruitment materials, including the use of website and social media.
  • Plan and/or attend recruitment functions to include recruitment fairs, individual and group presentations, and open houses. Coordinate recruitment initiatives with faculty and staff. Extensive travel is required including overnight travel.
  • Hire, train and supervise Ambassadors (part time student employees) in the delivery of recruitment efforts.

Description of Job Duties
  • Manage applications, including an initial review, and communicate via the Physical Therapy Centralized Application Service (PTCAS).
  • Utilize CRM Recruit management system to develop a robust communication plan with prospective students and to serve as a conduit between PTCAS and Banner.
  • Process applications for admitted students in Banner Student Information System. Work with university offices to successfully matriculate students.
  • Maintain prospective student database and counselor/adviser database and establish regular communication with both including the explanation of admissions requirements and student transfer credit policies.
  • Work collaboratively with Admissions Committee on the selection of candidates. May serve as an ex-officio member of the Admissions Committee.

  • Provide assistance for orientation and other events/functions offered through the Office of Academic Success and Student Affairs.

Required Education
Masters Degree

Bachelors degree with seven years related experience will be accepted in lieu of masters degree.

Required Work Experience
Five to seven years of related work experience. Recruitment and admissions leadership experience with demonstrated success in recruitment of students at the university level. Marketing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and experience with Recruit, Banner and Centralized Application Services.

Work Hours
Weekday business hours that flex on demand, with some weeknights and weekends. Travel, including overnight, required for recruiting activities.

Physical Demands
Ambulation necessary due to terrain and transfer distances at recruitment sites. Ability to stand for extended periods of time due to nature of recruitment events. Ability to speak clearly face-to-face and on the phone. Ability to utilize computer and other common office equipment. Must be able to lift approximately 25 lbs.
