The Director of Event Services is responsible for all activities related to camps, conferences, and workshops which take place on the campus of Western Carolina University and are not academically based. This position has direct responsibility for recruiting, planning, implementing, administering, billing, and completing all camps and conferences. Position has both direct and functional supervision responsibilities of various positions throughout the year, including full-time professional staff, student staff, and hourly/temporary staff.

Required Qualifications
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Hospitality and Tourism, or related business area.

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience and previous experience working on a university campus is preferred.
