The University of Colorado Boulder Office of Advancement encourages applications for a Discovery Officer. This position will be embedded in the Parent Giving and Boulder Advancement Programs (PG/BAP) office and will support the achievement of fundraising goals. The Discovery Officer helps grow overall fundraising for the campus through teamwork, creativity, problem-solving and leadership annual giving solicitations, and collaborates with the PG/BAP team to help identify prospective major gift donors so that together, we can more deeply engage, cultivate and solicit philanthropic support for CU. The Discovery Officer will hold a portfolio of Colorado-based leadership annual giving donors and prospective donors from which they will cultivate and solicit support.

This is an entry-level role meant to provide a pathway for a successful career in fundraising and relationship management while helping to increase engagement and philanthropic investment for the University. The Discovery Officer reports to the Managing Senior Director of Development and Unit Lead.
