English Instructor – Tenure-Track

Everett Community College has an opening for a tenure-track English instructor beginning Fall Quarter 2018. The position reports to the Dean of Communication and Social Sciences.
Primary teaching responsibilities include first year English writing/composition courses using a variety of lecture, discussion, demonstration, self-paced, technology-based, distance-learning, and collaborative formats.

Minimum Qualifications include:
-Master's degree in English, English Education, Composition and Rhetoric, or a related field from an accredited institution
-Documented competence and the equivalent of at least three years of full-time teaching experience of first year English writing/composition at the college level
-A philosophy of education consistent with the current methodologies and pedagogies in first year English writing/composition
