Food Service Sanitation Laborer (multiple positions available - EXTENDED POSTING)

Primary Function:
9-month position (Aug 16-May 15); actual start and end dates may vary based on academic calendar This position is responsible to perform assigned responsibilities, and to perform routine, sanitation and heavy labor duties. Individual in this position works under the supervision of the Food Service Managers and Assistant Food Service Managers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Instruction and responsibilities for proper sanitation and cleaning are provided verbally and in writing. Procedures for performing duties and use of cleaning agents are provided in the Task Training Manual. This position has no supervisory responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable an individual with disabilities to perform essential functions. Ability to read numbers and two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Working Hours: Monday-Wednesday 1:00pm-9:00pm; Saturday-Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm; Off Thursday and Friday
