Position Summary
The Head Girl's Basketball Coach for St. Anthony Catholic High School is responsible for every aspect of the Girl's Basketball Program. Head Girl's Basketball Coach Duties

Description of Job Duties
- Takes responsibility for the conduct of student-athletes and assistant coaches at all times;
- Develops monthly practice schedules and daily practice plans;
-Runs organized practices;
- Arrives early for all practices and games;
- Develops an off-season program that provides for growth opportunities in the sport while allowing athletes to participate in other sports;
- Motivates players positively with a good attitude and in an upbeat manner;
- Build and maintain a professional relationship with parents at all times and uses sound judgment in communicating and working with parents;
- Models good behavior through attitude, respect for authority, rules and policies;
-Refrains from the use of inappropriate or profane language;
- Models as a faith leader of the team and program.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
-Knowledge to teach individual sport skills as well as team concepts and strategies;
- Effectively work with athletes with varied personality types;
- Effective communicator to athletes, parents, coaching staff, administration, and the greater community;
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents;
-Demonstrates the ability to teach fundamental skills and situational decision-making skills;
-Professional dress and appearance appropriate for coaching in game and practice situations;
-Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures

Required Education
High School Diploma or its equivalent

Required Work Experience
-Five (5) years high school basketball experience or Five (5) years of AAU (u16 or higher) coaching experience;
-College playing experience may substitute for high school coaching on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
-Bachelor degree;
-Playing experience on a varsity high school team or college level.

Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
-Must have a CDL or obtain CDL prior to September 30, 2019;
-Insurable by UIWs insurance carrier.
