IT Project Manager/Business Analyst

UIW Mission


Position Summary
The IT Project Manager/Business Analyst is responsible for working with functional and technical teams across UIW. Key responsibilities include documenting project scope, identifying workflow and application requirements, facilitating the solution design, ensuring technology solutions integrate well with existing processes and systems, developing training and supporting materials, assessing organization readiness, and implementing an ongoing support strategy to include policy and procedures.

The IT Project Manager/Business Analyst will work closely with the Director of IT PPMO, subject matter experts across functional areas, technical experts within IT, and other campus partners and stakeholders. The IT PPMO department provides services to stakeholders across UIW domestic and Latin American campuses.

This position is considered a Responsible Employee under Title IX federal regulations and Mandatory Reporter under Texas state law and The UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy. As a Mandatory Reporter, this position requires you as the employee to promptly report any incident that you witness or receive information about violating Title IX. These reporting responsibilities are set out in the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy.

Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.


Required Education
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.


Required Work Experience
Experience supporting technology solutions.

Experience managing projects.


Preferred Qualifications
Spanish language proficiency.

PMP or CAPM project management certification.

CCBA or CBAP business analyst certification.

Work Hours
Monday thru Friday from 8:00am 5:00pm. Occasional extended hours required in order to meet critical deadlines.
