Essential Functions:
The Lecturer position will teach nursing courses and develop instructional material related to area assigned. The lecturer will evaluate student clinical performance according to established criteria and course objectives. In addition, the lecturer will perform related duties such as advising students on academic curricula, formal and informal instruction, counseling students, original work or research, preparation of new courses, and service on various campus and community committees.

Minimum Education/Experience:
The Lecturer position requires a Masters of Science in Nursing.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Commitment to diversity and inclusion in fulfillment of the universitys mission; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; excellent analytical skills and reasoned judgment; ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others; candidate must have at least three years of clinical experience in obstetrics/pediatric nursing; candidate must have at least three years of teaching experience in obstetrics/pediatric nursing.
