Job Summary / Basic Function
Job Summary: The Marketing Creative Manager serves as the lead graphic designer and is responsible for proofing and editing, providing creative direction and thinking, and ensuring that all materials are designed and executed in a timely manner, while upholding the integrity of the college's brand and brand guidelines. This position reports directly to the Marketing Director and will support the implementation of our strategic marketing plans by establishing a marketing & communications internship program and supervising select marketing staff (Social Media Specialist).

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Education Required: Bachelors degree required in marketing, communication arts, graphic design or related field.
Minimum Experience Required:
At least 3 years of experience in marketing, editing or visual brand management work experience.
At least 1 to 3 years of management experience.

Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment with students, staff, faculty, business and industry officials, and the general public
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment
Demonstrate an ability to develop marketing strategies and determine message hierarchy

Ability to collaborate within and outside of department
Demonstrate the ability to be a creative thinker and problem solver
Ability to work independently
General knowledge of AP Style guidelines
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate strong proofing and editing skills
Demonstrate expert-level design experience
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Ability to adhere to in-house style and branding guidelines
Travel as required
