Under the Pathways to Prosperity initiative, funded in part by the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education Vision Project Performance Incentive grant program, the Curriculum Alignment Coordinator will lead, organize and coordinate the efforts of faculty from four partner Boston public high schools and the College in the development and implementation of a plan to align curriculum and course content in the areas of mathematics, reading, writing, science and health to boost college readiness for high school students planning to major in health-related fields. Reports to Vision Project Grant Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Organizing and facilitating curriculum alignment teams in mathematics, reading and writing
• Serving as the lead contact for the various campus constituents, arranging and chairing meetings, and maintaining records
• Coordinating alignment efforts and synthesizing input from various sources
• Conducting literature reviews on curricular alignment and innovative pedagogy and practice in reading, writing and math as needed, and sharing research with all constituents
• Supporting data collection and analysis to ensure evidence-based processes
• Overseeing production of alignment deliverables and drafting of final reports
 

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master's degree in Education, English, Mathematics or related field
• Experience with program evaluations research from the inception of literature review to data analysis and summary
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population
• Experience with educational assessment
• Prior experience with curriculum development and grant compliance is strongly preferred
• Experience implementing innovative pedagogies and practices that increase college readiness preferred

SALARY: $35/hr., 20 hrs./week, 40 weeks/year
