Part-Time CPAT Proctor- CSN Emergency Management

Job Description

The Proctor is responsible for escorting and evaluating the candidate throughout the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) process. They review with each candidate the CPAT course instructions.

The Proctor monitors and documents the warnings given and notifies the candidate and stops the CPAT when infractions constitute test failure.

The Proctor assures that the candidate's paperwork is filled out completely and that they understand all CPAT rules prior to the candidates test beginning.

The Proctor will review with the candidate and demonstrate the proper technique for a candidate to use in the event of a failed test.

The Proctor monitors each candidate's physical condition after each test to ensure that each candidate gets properly hydrated and is not suffering from any medical issues prior to the candidate being released to leave the CPAT Facility.

The proctor documents how the candidate performed on each of the eight events that make up the highly physical CPAT test.
