Program Support Supervisor 1 (part time)

Job Summary/Basic Function:
Assist the Facilities department with data entry and maintenance of budget documents.
  • Conduct planning and budget studies of ongoing and proposed programs.
  • Provide data and background to coordinate program and budget planning with budget authorities.
  • Recommend changes in existing procedures to improve program budget management and application.
  • Review, identify and resolve problems and discrepancies with budget records or documents, including research and making adjustment to budgets.
  • Routinely check budgets for over-expenditures.
  • Transfer charges from one account to another upon request from departments.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Knowledge of MS Office programs, including Word, and Excel.
    Professional experience in budgets or program analysis
    Experience using technology to analyze financial data
    Accurate data entry skills
    Ability to explain financial transactions simply to non-accountants.
    Demonstrated cultural competency
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Associate degree in business, public administration, accounting, economics, statistics or two years of relevant experience.

    Work Hours: Part time, maximum 69 hours per month (approximately 15 hours per week) 12 months per year. Work hours are scheduled between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday during the academic year; Monday through Thursday during the summer.
