Responsibilities*
Deliver linen within the Michigan Medicine Health complex incuding CVC, C&W, UH Main, CC, and Taubman health center. Count, calculate, and maintain inventory levels for all units of responsibility. Ability to adjust and incorporate new assignments based on department needs.

Required Qualifications*

Must be able to perform a wide range of physical activities including walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, etc.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must have the capability and working knowledge to perform electronic data entry on hand held devices.
Must meet the department's standards for excellent customer satisfaction.
Must be able to work independently.
Minimum education should be a high school graduate or equivalent.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently as well as be a productive member of a team.

Work Schedule
The work schedule is Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Thursday from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and all Holidays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Union Affiliation
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the AFSCME union, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.

Background Screening
