Salary/Pay Range: $46,672 - $60,222 annuallly. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

Work Location: The work location for this position is on-site.

Summary

This individual will work closely with Dr. Okun to ensure the execution of the study, especially the shipment of the bassinets, blood collection kits, and actigraphy. This person will oversee proper dissemination of online survey links for proper data collection, and that data entry is appropriately managed, collected, and entered. This person will be responsible for recruitment and participant management. The study coordinator will assist with and oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinical trial. This position will obtain study subject's demographic information, reviews research protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria, and confirms eligibility of subject to participate in clinical trial. The study coordinator ensures that the informed consent process has occurred, is properly documented, and that informed consent form documents are filed as required. The position will also collect, code, and analyze data obtained from research in an accurate and timely manner.

The funding for this position is expected to last until 6/14/2028.

  • Be primary contact for potential participants. Oversee promotion, screening, randomization, and monthly survey emails
  • Maintain database of potential and recruited participants.
  • Maintain detailed records of study to ensure compliance with DoD and UCCS IRB.
  • Oversee actigraphy watches for mom and baby, maintain tracking, shipping/receipt of study materials, and database
  • Oversee blood collection kits: shipping, supplies, and return
  • Oversee shipment of assigned bassinet to participant. Ensure proper return on SB when participant is finished with study
  • Communicate with other research sites and personnel
  • Assist Dr. Okun with IRB materials
  • Manage research assistant, share duties.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

§ Education: Bachelor's Degree in health related field.

§ A combination of education and related clinical research experience may be substituted for the Masters Degree

§ Experience: At least 2 years clinical research experience.

Preferred Qualifications

· Master's degree in science or health related field

· Two (2) years of clinical research or related experience

· Experience with actigraphy

· Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word; SPSS,

· Must be team-oriented, detailed-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently within a team environment

· Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally

Physical Requirements

There are no specific physical requirements to do this job. The job does require being on campus at least part of the time. Excellent communication skills, being detail oriented, and use of a computer is necessary.
