The Advancement Team in the Renee Crown Wellness Institute encourages applications for a Temporary Project Manager to provide key support! This position will manage and prioritize critical projects that directly contribute to fundraising and engagement efforts on behalf of the Crown Institute. The Temporary Project Manager will collaborate closely with the Assistant Dean for Advancement and Senior Development Assistant to sustain donor engagement, manage key aspects of the advancement team's operations, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Advancement Strategy & Communications
- Complete key advancement-related tasks, including planned operations, events, communications & donor visits.
- Supports the Assistant Dean in advancing fundraising efforts including the development of proposals and cases for support.
- Prepares donor communications including individual correspondence, advisory board materials, impact reports and other stewardship projects.
- Works closely with campus partners and the Assistant Dean of Advancement to ensure deliverables align with standard processes and donor expectations while meet reporting timelines.
- Conducts proactive research and assists in pipeline development strategy to ensure continued progress related to fundraising goals.
- Assists the Assistant Dean in the development of campaign-related materials and goal setting.
- Works in partnership with Portfolio Intelligence (PI) and Industry & Foundation Relations (IFR) to research & identify new gift and grant opportunities, working collaboratively to advance proposals & key deliverables.
- Plans Advisory Board meetings and surrounding events, including concept development, planning for central initiatives, agenda creation, and other logistics as needed.
- Manages inventory of board materials and supervises new member onboarding, ensuring seamless engagement for incoming board members.
- Supervises planning and execution of advancement-related events, ensuring high-quality engagement experiences. Includes venue coordination, catering, event collateral, and logistics, ensuring smooth operations.
- Represent the Crown Institute at alumni engagement and stewardship roundtable meetings. Serves as liaison to the Alumni Association and Campus Donor Relations and manages alumni engagement data.
What You Should Know
- This is a temporary position anticipated to last 32 hours a week for 6 months. The schedule is anticipated to be Monday - Friday, though this can be discussed with the supervisor for flexibility.
- This position may require local, regional, and out-of-state travel to engage with university constituents.
- This position has the ability to work a hybrid schedule with some days on campus and some days remote.
- This role will occasionally be required to work evenings/weekends.
What We Can Offer
The pay range is $32.00 - $38.00 per hour.

What We Require
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience combination of education and experience.
- 1+ years of professional, job-related experience that includes strong organizational and project management skills.
What You Will Need
- Ability to establish and enhance interpersonal relationships, including ability to coordinate and manage volunteers.
- Knowledge of fundraising, donor relations, and alumni relations standard methodologies.
- Strong communication skills including the skills to participate in public events and represent Advancement and the university in a professional manner.
- Ability to analyze information/situations and solve problems.
- Ability to exercise a high degree of tact, discretion, and collaboration in working with a diverse range of constituents including employees, students, volunteers, alumni, donors, and campus colleagues.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously; ability to work independently and as a partner and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of current issues facing public universities and interests of assigned school, students, faculty, and alumni.
- Strong attention to detail and to visual appeal of presentation materials.
- Growth mindset, resilience and perseverance.
