Job Summary
This position oversees the relationship between the Boulder Apple Tree Project and the Boulder Community. This person will be responsible for communicating with Boulder and CU Boulder Stakeholders regarding BATP events and news, updating and maintaining the website, and working to plan and host community-engaged events for the project. They will also maintain relationships with the Historic Fruit Tree Working group and coordinate local efforts to align with this group's preservation efforts. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- This position oversees the relationship between the Boulder Apple Tree Project and the Boulder Community. This person will be responsible for communicating with Boulder and CU Boulder Stakeholders regarding BATP events and news, updating and maintaining the website, and working to plan and host community-engaged events for the project. What You Should Know
- This position will be for one hour per week with the possibility of up to 5 hours per week.
What We Can Offer
The hiring rate for this position is $28.00 per hour.

Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.

What We Require
- A masters degree in biology or an equivalent science and experience working with community engaged science are required.
What You Will Need
- Knowledge of apples, apple tree preservation, apple grafting, and historic apple cultivars is desired.
