Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in supporting the advancement of research within the Division of Vascular Surgery. The Visiting Researcher will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of various research initiatives within our portfolio. There will be no direct patient care or contact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in thorough publication review, contributing insights and expertise to enhance the quality of research literature.
  • Create peer-reviewed publications that showcase our division's research and findings.
  • Conduct comprehensive review and analysis of clinical databases and patient electronic health records (EHR).
  • Assist in the execution of clinical trials, supporting various aspects of trial management to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of research protocols.

Work Location:

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • MD is required
  • Published in high impact and prestigious journals, such as Lancet, Annals of Surgery, and European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery
  • Experience participating in RCTs

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Strata and/or Redcap
  • Statistics experience
  • Prior research experience related to vascular surgery
  • Training in vascular surgical procedures
  • Demonstrated skills in problem-solving and working collaboratively and effectively with other members of a research team

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Exceptional problem-solving proficiency
  • Exemplary planning and organizational expertise
  • Computer proficiency
  • Outstanding communication and collaborative aptitude
  • Thorough grasp of scientific concepts

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$40,000 to $45,000

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
