Position description:
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) invites applications for a tenure-track position in the broadly defined area of biological chemistry and chemical biology.
Penn Chemistry is a collaborative and interactive department. Within the department, the traditional sub-fields of biochemistry, organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry serve as a framework from which collaborative, inter-disciplinary experimental and theoretical research is launched. The Department of Chemistry is housed within the School of Arts & Sciences (SAS). Interdisciplinary research and collaboration are supported across the campus as chemistry faculty routinely collaborate with others in SAS as well in the Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM) and the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS), all part of our highly integrated campus in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
