Public Programs Intern

Job Summary

The applicant will work closely with our Public Programs Coordinator to support the development, and implementation of Gallery Interpreter Programs at the NHMU. This applicant will also utilize their background in Anthropology, Paleontology, Biology or other fields related to NHMU's exhibits to help update, and facilitate our Gallery programming at the Museum. The internship will begin on September 2nd, and end on May 22nd.

Responsibilities
Supporting the Public Programs Coordinator in the development and implementation of Gallery Programs; including, but not limited to; DinoFest, and Utah Food Fest. Working with our Public Programs Coordinator to develop and implement a volunteer training program related to our Paleontology/Past Worlds Gallery.

Work Schedule Summary: Availability on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00pm - 5pm. Wednesday evenings from 5pm-8pm. They will also have to work some weekends for events.
