The AACSB International accredited College of Business enrolls approximately 2,000 students annually. The College of Business offers comprehensive undergraduate degrees, select master's degrees, and professional programs that emphasize principle-based ethical decision making. Work Location: Typically, on-site; position may be partially remote, based on the semester-to-semester need of the department, as determined with the supervisor.
Salary Range: $68,000 - $72,000 per academic year. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. In addition, the College of Business provides professional development funding. This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

Summary
The Assistant Teaching Professor of Accounting position in the College of Business is a 9-month, non-tenure track, full-time position on the Accounting, Finance, and Business Law team.
The position starts in August 2025.
Essential Functions
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Teaching (80%)
- This is equivalent to 8 courses per academic year.
- This position will primarily teach classes in introductory financial and managerial accounting. Other classes may be assigned as needed.
- Classes may be in-person, online, or hybrid.
- Service (10%)
- Professional development (10%)
- This is for required on-going practice-related activities to maintain a minimum of AACSB "Instructional Practitioner" status).

Tentative Search Timeline:

Qualifications
Applicants must meet the qualifications at the time of hire.
- A completed MBA OR a completed Master in Accounting degree OR a completed Bachelor in Accounting degree + active professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is required.
- At least two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience in an accounting role within an organization is required.
- The following experience is highly desirable:
- Prior and relevant teaching experience.
- Degree(s) from an AACSB or similarly accredited institution.
- Ability or interest in teaching in a variety of formats including in person, hybrid and online classes.
- Relevant industry experience that includes current engagement in professional activities.
- Certified Public Accountant or other accounting certification.
