What We're Looking For
Baylor University is seeking a Cherry Award Coordinator to support the mission and vision of the University within the Cherry Award Office.
A Bachelor's Degree and three years of relevant work experience are required. Five years of relevant work experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.
This is a part-time position. A hybrid work arrangement will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do
- Serving as the contact for procedures and processes for the committee and program and act as a liaison for the committee between faculty, staff, students and guests
- Coordinate administrative matters within and outside the University
- Coordinating the nomination process
- Arranging visits to campus
- Semester-in-residence
- Award recognition luncheon
- Coordinating advertisement with the Division of Marketing and Communications
- Manage the day to day administrative functions of the program
- Responding to all correspondence in a timely manner
- Creating and maintaining electronic files
- Maintaining program's website
- Support annual budget and monitor on a monthly basis and resolve any discrepancies
- Responsible for purchasing and maintaining supplies and equipment as well as budget expense control
- Prepare vouchers and requisitions in Ignite based on availability of budget funds
- Maintain award nominees and nomination electronic mailing lists and compile reports
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
- Ability to comply with university policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
