What We're Looking For
The Campus Visits Specialist plays a key role in managing the student tour guides as well as the daily operations of Baylor University's campus visit experience. This position supports the mission of the university, and the enrollment goals set by the Baylor Board of Regents by ensuring prospective students and guests have a high-quality, well-coordinated campus visit.
A bachelor's degree and less than one year of relevant work experience are required. Three years of experience is preferred.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.
A valid US Driver License with a clear driving record of at least two years is required.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do
- Facilitate training and onboarding for student staff, including preparing materials, greeting new hires, and managing certification steps, onboarding forms, and uniform inventory.
- Provide secondary supervision for 150-200 undergraduate student workers, graduate assistants, and student leaders.
- Assist in scheduling student staff and implementing logistics for daily campus visits and recruitment events.
- Monitor and uphold the quality of the campus visit experience from beginning to end.
- Support the coordination of campus tours, assist with professional staff development, and oversee student driver training and shuttle logistics.
- Serve as a liaison to the student leadership team and training teams. Manage their communication, scheduling, and meetings.
- Coordinate and schedule all campus visit appointments, including academic, standard, and specialized visits.
- Organize custom tour requests based on visitor needs and serve as a liaison to Admissions Marketing to ensure consistent and accurate visitor communication.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
- Ability to comply with University policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
