Job Description:
What We Are Looking For
Baylor University is seeking a Video Production Coordinator to ensure scheduling and resource allocation to support video content for university courses and other video projects within the Experiential Learning department. The Video Production Coordinator will work across a range of recording environments, both studio and location, maintaining a high level of production value. This role oversees all logistics of video production, from creative through post-production, delivery, and archiving job logs and media assets.
This is a temporary, 2-year assignment.
An Associate's degree and two years of relevant work experience are required. A Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant work experience are preferred.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Provide overall coordination of both studio and field-based video projects including production scheduling and project tracking, studio/location booking, crew and equipment assignments, and client communication
- Manage communication among learning design teams, creative, technical, and administrative team members
- Refine and further develop a robust project management and scheduling system
- Work with the Manager, Academic Video Production and the Director of Experiential Learning to improve processes, workflows, communication and project management and scheduling software use
- Assist with documentation, rights clearances, and production recordkeeping
- Debrief project with individual team members with an eye toward incremental improvements
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
- Ability to comply with university policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
