Job Description:
What We Are Looking For

Baylor University Athletics department is searching for an Assistant/Associate Athletic Director, Governance & Regulatory Affairs that will help develop strategies to promote student athlete success, including but not limited to retention, academic college readiness, stress management and wellness. A Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience is required and a Master's degree with 7 years of experience is preferred.

All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis.

What Will You Do
  • Position plays a critical role in compliance monitoring of NCAA, Big 12, CSC/House Settlement and Baylor institutional rules and policies
  • Staff member will be responsible for assisting with the day to day operations of the Governance and Regulatory Affairs unit with direct oversight of two full time staff members
  • Serve as liaison to assigned sports programs and provide guidance on day-to-day regulatory matters for those programs including interpretations, investigations, waivers and violations as necessary
  • Staff member will oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive rules education plan
  • Collaborate with campus stakeholders such as admissions, financial aid, registrar's office, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
