Details
The University of Utah School of Dentistry (UUSOD) seeks a dentist with the skills and interest to work as faculty in a clinical setting within a collaborative team at our Rose Park Clinic within our Clinician Clinics. We are looking for applicants committed to serving others through compassionate and ethical care for patients and creating a humanistic environment for growth.
Requirements:
- Qualified candidates should have a DDS or equivalent degree and qualify for a dental license in Utah.
- Requirements for a Utah dental license can be found on DOPL.
 
 - Experience with clinical dentistry is preferred.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing direct patient care in general dentistry, restorative, fixed and removable prosthodontics, endodontics, pediatrics, periodontics, and oral surgery. This is not a teaching role.
 - Working collaboratively within a clinical team of dental, medical, and behavioral health personnel.
 - Providing 1 week of rural dentistry service in Utah through our Mobile Outreach Program each year.
 
Schedule and Time Commitments:
- This position requires 0.8 to 1.0 FTE or a 4-5 day per week commitment.
 - The clinic is operational Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with no weekend or on-call hours.
 - Ideal start date of April 1, 2026.
 
Compensation is based on experience, and we offer an excellent benefits package, including:
- 14.2% employer contribution to retirement with no match required, for eligible faculty, with a four-year vesting period.
 - We offer up to 25 vacation days per year, paid holidays, paid sick leave, and much more to faculty who qualify.
