This position oversees a funded research study examining the impact of racism-related burden on healthy brain function and mental health in Black young adults. The role has primary responsibility for day-to-day study operations, regulatory compliance, participant recruitment and engagement, data collection, and supervision of research personnel, requiring autonomy, judgment, and coordination. The position supervises and mentors seven undergraduate research assistants through work planning, task assignment, training, and oversight aligned with funded research objectives, and provides trainee development by advising undergraduate students on internal research award applications (e.g., UROP). The coordinator also provides guidance to newly onboarded research staff. The coordinator serves as a liaison to institutional review bodies and community partners, oversees IRB documentation and compliance, conducts participant screening, enrollment, and study visits, and supports community-based outreach and recruitment. The role operates with limited supervision and contributes to the successful implementation of funded study aims.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree with 1 year of related experience.
