Rutgers Cancer Institute and RWJBarnabas Health offer world-class cancer care, providing patients with the most advanced treatment options through an integrated cancer care network, including clinical trials, immunotherapy, precision medicine, complex surgical procedures, and sophisticated radiation therapy techniques. Rutgers Cancer Institute and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, are one of only two programs in the state to offer blood and marrow transplantations and CAR T-cell therapy. It also houses the state's only hospital-based proton therapy center.

The Chief, Blood Disorders provides leadership of all operational and programmatic aspects within the discipline of blood disorders (hematologic malignancies, BMT, and benign hematology) and is responsible for oversight of the clinical practice, clinical research activities, and mentorship-assigned researchers and providers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build on a solid foundation of excellence, including preeminent research, outstanding clinical services, a CAR T-cell therapy program, and prominent educational programs.
