Assistant Professor of Curriculum and Instruction

Job Duties:

Duties for the position include teaching a 9-hour semester load of face-to-face courses at the UTM Campus.
Online course opportunities may be available.
Responsibilities will include directorship of the UTM Call Me MiSTER Program which is a teacher leadership program that strives to increase the pool of available teachers from a more diverse background.
Additional responsibilities will include academic advising, mentoring student research, supervision and observation of practicums and field work, community outreach, service to the department and university, and establishing a record of scholarship, and professional service.

Required Qualifications:

An earned doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or related area is required. Documented evidence of an ABD will be considered.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience teaching in a middle/secondary education environment.

Salary Range

Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
