Assistant or Associate Professor of Criminal Justice
Job Duties:
- The successful applicant will teach a 4/4 load with courses assigned according to departmental needs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Applicants should have a strong interest in teaching.
- Service to the University, community, and profession, recruitment, academic advising, as well as maintaining an active scholarly agenda are expected.
Required Qualifications:
- A terminal degree in Criminal Justice or closely related field at the time of appointment is required for rank and tenure track status.
- Advanced ABD applicants will be considered.
Salary Range
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Criminal Justice Program at the University of Tennessee at Martin invites applications for a tenure track appointment at the rank of assistant or associate professor to begin August 2025. Area of specialization is open, but preference may be given to those applicants with the ability to teach law enforcement-related coursework at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
