Job Description
The Manager Research Project B (Temporary Worker) position will support the Accelerate Health Equity team in advancing key clinical research initiatives in Summer 2025. First, the PM-B will support data and copy edit updates to the research project webpages presented on the AHE website. The PM-B will lead revisions in coordination with other AHE staff to update data tables and data visualizations. This role will leverage clinical research expertise in conducting literature reviews, translating clinical and scientific data into lay language for various consumers of the AHE webpages, and coordinating and managing complex projects. Second, the PM-B will support the AHE Director and affiliated faculty advisors in preparing new grant submissions supporting the research portfolio exploring opportunities for connecting Penn Medicine patients with unmet social needs to benefits navigators. Important tasks will include managing meetings with project stakeholders and grant writing incorporating past project data and outlining research questions, aims, procedures, and methods of investigation for new work. The PM-B will report directly to the AHE Director.
Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and 5 to 7 years or Master of Science, Master of Arts, and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
