Purpose:

The Management and Entrepreneurship Department of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Organizational Theory (Macro OB) beginning September 2026. We particularly want candidates who can contribute to our organization theory (macro OB) and management research portfolio and teach undergraduate and graduate strategy and organizational change courses. Responsibilities include: (A) maintaining a program of research leading to publications in high-quality journals; (B) teaching undergraduate and undergraduate courses in organization theory, macro organizational behavior, and management; (C) designing new elective courses; and (d) providing suitable service to the Department, Leavey School of Business, University, profession, and/or community.

Basic Qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. or ABD at time of appointment in Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to publish their research in high-quality, peer-reviewed scholarly journals and have demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
