Job Summary


The Leeds School of Business encourages applications for the Temporary Admissions Coordinator! This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Admissions and Operations and joins the admissions team that supports the School's enrollment strategy for its MBA and MS programs. The person in this position will engage in the extensive recruiting process with the team to ensure a strong and diverse applicant pool. The Temp Admissions Coordinator will assist in managing the recruitment, application and admissions processes for Leeds Graduate Programs. They will work with the operations and recruitment teams to drive the application review process for our programs through its full life cycle. Our current application platform is Technolutions Slate, where this individual will complete much of their day-to-day work. This position also coordinates events, interacts directly with candidates and supports the recruitment team in scheduling appointments with prospects.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be


Admissions & Applications Processing:
  • Responsible for managing the Leeds Graduate Admissions email inbox in Slate and the admissions Chat on the website.
  • Responding to admission email queries, chat inquiries, and phone calls by coordinating responses with all of Leeds Graduate programs' staff.
  • Coordinate website text edits with the marketing team.
  • Handling post-application/pre-deposit communication process.
  • Submit change forms to ensure accurate enrollments.
  • Pro-actively, independently, and consistently conducts follow-up and problem-solving with all applicants to ensure full applications are submitted to the committee in a timely fashion.
  • Provides required documentation for admissions committees.
  • Records and releases decisions and follow-up actions from the committee.
  • Maintains Slate records for applicants and candidates, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Connect with readers and interviewers about applications in process and assign reader load.

Recruitment Support and Event Management:
  • Supports the recruitment team with their outreach initiatives, including setting up appointments with prospects and applicants, arranging call and interview schedules, and ensuring the team has all the necessary current materials to conduct recruitment meetings and events.
  • Responsible for the event calendar and Slate scheduler for interviews, prospect appointments, Q&A sessions, visit Leeds, Showcase and other events for the recruitment team.
  • Coordinate regular meetings with the graduate admissions team, student services team and career management team.
  • Coordinate special in-person and virtual recruitment events with the Associate Dean's Office support staff.

Slate/CRM Administration:
  • The coordinator will work closely with both the Admissions and CRM Database Manager and the Admissions and Communications CRM Manager to complete daily tasks in Slate.
  • Work with applicants to update application materials, including collaboration with international graduate admission.
  • Complete test score uploads for GMAT, GRE, TOEFL and other exams as needed.
  • Process changes to applications in Slate, such as deferrals, program changes or withdrawals and consolidate duplicate records.
  • Update Slate email snippets to reflect the new admissions cycle.

Special Projects:
  • Research and collect benchmarking data on all MBA and MS programs from various sources.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You Should Know

  • This temporary role is anticipated to begin August 1, 2025 and working temporarily until October (10 weeks). We anticipate the position to work 20 hours a week, Monday through Friday. The work hours, regardless of location, must be between 8:00am and 5:00pm mountain time.
  • The work modality can be either remote or hybrid.


What We Can Offer

  • The hire rate for this position is $30.00 per hour.

What We Require

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) from an accredited institution. Experience can substitute for education on a year for year basis.
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of Technolutions Slate experience.
