The Gregory H. Olsen College of Engineering and Science at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Florham Campus seeks a broadly trained biologist for an appointment to begin August 2025. The successful candidate will teach in the introductory biology sequence for majors as well as major and non-major courses in their area of expertise. The primary focus of the position will include teaching and coordinating the laboratories for our freshman biology sequence, Biological Diversity and Molecules, Cells, and Genes. The candidate will be expected to collaborate with instructors of the lecture portion of these courses. The candidate will also be expected to direct and organize adjunct lab instructors and student lab assistants. Additionally, the successful candidate may have opportunities to teach lecture courses in their area of expertise as needed.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biology or a related area and teaching experience in cell and molecular biology preferred.
