Job Summary:
Fairleigh Dickinson University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences invites applications for a 12-month, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and delivery of the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) curriculum with a focus on pharmaceutical sciences. Teaching responsibilities include didactic courses in biomedical sciences (anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology), integrated pharmacotherapy (pharmacology portion), and other relevant areas within pharmaceutical sciences. A strong commitment to active learning, educational technology, and student success is essential.
In addition to teaching, the faculty member is expected to maintain an active research and scholarly agenda in their area of expertise and to engage students in faculty-mentored research. Service on College and University committees is required and will be considered as part of the tenure evaluation process.
College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is located in Northern New Jersey. The College offers an integrated 4-year Pharm.D. curriculum. Further, a concurrent Master's degree program is available to qualified pharmacy students.

Required Qualifications:
Education, training, experience:
A Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences is required. Understanding of pharmacy curriculum related to pharmaceutical sciences is required. A professional degree in pharmacy is a plus.
Faculty candidates specializing in pharmacology are especially encouraged to apply.
Teaching and research records will qualify the faculty candidate for the rank of assistant or associate professor.
Demonstrated experience and ability to adapt teaching to various learning styles and levels of learners are highly desirable.
