Position Announcement
Utah Valley University is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Project Manager to join the University Marketing & Communications team. In this dynamic role, you will guide marketing and communications projects from start to finish-managing intake, timelines, and communication between creative teams and campus partners. Working under the direction of the Lead Project Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring that each project stays on track, aligns with UVU's brand standards, and meets the needs of stakeholders across the university.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Facilitates project intake, kickoff, management, and completion of requests from campus partners. This includes creating clear and attainable project objectives, building project requirements and production schedules, managing constraints of time and scope for each project.
- Liaises with campus customers to ensure project satisfaction and positive associations; works with cross-functional teams to cultivate organization and commitment to deadlines between University Marketing and other departments; reviews deliverables prepared by the team before delivering to the client.
- Manages project logistics, including collaborating with Facilities, the Purchasing Office, and external vendors as needed, and assisting in coordinating production processes to ensure quality finished products.
- Manages efficiency in project initiation, project flow, and project completion and archiving. Assists with project prioritization and escalating projects, as needed. Assists in directing internal processes for archiving projects.
- Assists in enforcing UVU branding and graphic standard policies for all materials representing the University.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
- Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree and two years of experience related to the summary of duties; or an associate's degree and four years of experience related to the summary of duties; or any combination of education and/or experience totaling six years.
- Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related experience to the summary of duties; OR a combination of education and experience related to marketing or project management totaling seven years.
- Knowledge of higher education policies and procedures and experience working in a collegiate setting; experience working in the marketing/communications industry; experience working in print and production.
