Position Summary:
This part-time, working ORP retiree position reports to the director of the Office of Policy and Efficiency (OPE) and carries out essential professional and technological duties in support of the mission and responsibilities of OPE which oversees the president's university wide administrative policy making process; facilitates the development, review, approval and maintenance of university wide administrative policy statements (APSs); and acts as the official repository and point-of-contact regarding APSs. OPE also supports the Office of the Board of Regents in the review and maintenance of regent laws and policies and manages the Boettcher Webb-Waring Biomedical Research Awards (BFWW) program on behalf of the Office of the President.
Where You Will Work:
This role is eligible to work remotely in Colorado, with an occasional day in the office, as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain technology-based tools and applications in support of the mission and responsibilities of OPE and the BFWW program, including:
- Websites (APS-related, regent laws and policies-related, and BFWW-related);
- A policy-related database;
- An OPE policy blog; and
- A BFWW-related SharePoint application.
- Provide support for all facets of the APS and law and policy rollouts, including website updates, database updates, preservation of electronic files and publishing the policy communications blog.
- Provide technical and programmatic support for all facets of running the BFWW program, including:
- Preparing new award year documents and website;
- Assisting OPE staff in creating and running an annual online/virtual pre-submission webinar;
- Coordinating the annual campus submission of applications; and
- Participation in the annual selection panel meeting.
- Provide technical support and training to OPE staff on the database application and content management for the OPE-related websites, as needed.
- Provide any technical support for special projects, as needed.
- Function as the primary contact for the University Information Services (UIS) departmental liaison for OPE regarding OPE's IT needs and services.
What We Offer:
Salary: The anticipated hiring range for this part-time, working retiree role has been established at $54.60 per hour.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
This position is only open to those eligible as a working ORP Retiree. Other applicants not eligible will not be considered.
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of management, staff and constituents.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and a strong customer service orientation.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and SharePoint) or similar programs.
- Experience managing multiple tasks effectively in an organized manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the University of Colorado, including its organizational structure and relationship with the Board of Regents.
- Experience developing and maintaining websites using current web design tools.
- Experience using and maintaining an Access database.
- Experience using document management systems, such as Microsoft SharePoint.
