Job Description:
Madison College is seeking a Marketing Specialist to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing Madison College's digital presence through the oversight of web pages, social media content, and email marketing campaigns. This position will be part of the School of Professional & Continuing Education and is responsible for designing and updating website layouts, creating engaging social media posts, and developing targeted communications that align with institutional branding and user experience standards.
The Marketing Specialist collaborates with the broader marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and a cohesive digital brand across platforms, contributing to the college's communication effectiveness and overall strategic objectives.
This is a full time, year around (52 weeks) position Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm. This position has the option to perform work remotely two days a week, subject to change in accordance with Madison College policy.

Accountabilities:
- Enhances user experience by creating and updating compelling social media posts, designing and updating page layouts and web content to optimize website usability and effectiveness.
- Implements marketing strategy through planning, focused email marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns and marketing materials.
- Ensures brand consistency by collaborating with the marketing team to maintain a cohesive digital presence.
- Contributes to an inclusive, equitable and supportive environment where everyone at the institution feels valued, respected and empowered to reach their full potential.
- Adheres to college policies, directives and work rules while maintaining a commitment to the college's mission, vision and values.
- Performs other related duties within the scope of the position as required for the efficient operation of the division and to support institutional objectives.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of brand guidelines, design principles and digital accessibility standards.
- Skill in managing web content publishing and ensuring editorial quality.
- Ability to analyze and apply user experience principles to improve web and social medial content.
- Ability to manage multiple processes, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Skill in engaging positively with all populations and communities, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning and work environment.
- Skill in effectively and respectfully communicating with others.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education:
- Associates Degree or equivalent relevant work experience. *Experience used as an equivalent of an educational requirement is in addition to any experience required by the position.
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
