Adjunct Faculty in the Online Learning Unit: EdD in Learning and Organizational Change and MS in Learning Design and Technology programs

The School of Education seeks adjust instructors to teach and mentor graduate students in our EdD in Learning and Organizational Change and MS in Learning Design and Technology programs. The individual hired for this position will serve the school's Online Learning Unit.

EdD in Learning and Organizational Change (EdD-LOC): Our award-winning EdD in Learning and Organizational change program empowers leaders to drive positive change spanning various disciplines. Grounded in principles of teaching and learning, our online doctoral program empowers students to lead change in many organizations, from schools to businesses to non-profits and beyond. MS in Learning Design and Technology (MS-LDT): Designed for working professionals, our online MS in Learning Design and Technology equips you with the skills to create digital learning experiences across various sectors. We also offer two certificates in this area: Learning Design and Technology and Online Teaching. RESPONSIBILITIES: Online Learning adjunct faculty lead weekly synchronous course sessions and prepare materials for the asynchronous portions of classes. Some EdD-LOC faculty will serve as the dissertation advisor for students completing their problem of practice dissertation.

The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $5,000-$6,000 per course. Courses with lower enrollment are prorated.

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certification, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS: Consistent with Baylor's mission to be a world-class institution dedicated to Christian principles and ideals, the qualifications for the position include:

An earned doctorate in education, organizational change, learning design, or related discipline.

Expertise in adult learning, leadership, learning design, emerging technologies, or research methods.

Evidence of excellence in teaching online at the university level.
