Position Announcement
At Utah Valley University, the Campus Connection Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Sorensen Student Center's Campus Connection and USPS Contract Postal Unit. This position oversees essential services such as the Campus ID system, Lost & Found, ticketing and postal operations, temporary campus signage, and information services - ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for students, employees, and visitors.
This role also supports the strategic growth of Campus Connection by assisting in the development and execution of promotions and engagement strategies. Summary of Responsibilities
- Staff Supervision and Training: Assists manager with the day-to-day operation of student and part-time staff including hiring, discipline, performance, scheduling, staffing, and termination of Campus Connection/USPU CPU employees, under Manager's direction. Works with the Manager to create and implement training for all employees within the unit.
- UVU ID System and Ticketing Operations: Assists manager in the daily operations of the UVU ID system including ID Works, Lenel, Blackboard, and UTA Transit upload system. Supports daily operations and balancing of university ticketing systems.
- Campus Signage and Policy Compliance: Assists manager with managing the approval, scheduling, and posting of all campus temporary signage. Ensures compliance with UVU Policy - Freedom of Speech. Coordinates staff for the placement and pick-up of all outdoor signage.
- CPU Mail Clerk: Serves as CPU Mail Processing Clerk: sells stamps, processes incoming and outgoing mail, performs clerical tasks, provides customer support for mail-related inquiries, ensures all mail is handled with care to protect sensitive data, and adapts to technological advancements to maintain efficiency.
- Event Ticketing Support: Assists the manager with event ticketing setup and logistics, ensuring smooth coordination and execution of ticketing operations for campus events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and/or experience related to the summary of duties totaling 4 years.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Transact, ID card production software, Microsoft Suite, ticketing software, and USPS Retail Services. Possession of a current/valid driver's license.

Knowledge
- Proficiency with office software including Microsoft
