Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Provides comprehensive support to the HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) team ensuring efficient HR operations. Responsible for data-related activities including data entry, data cleanup, audits and validation for all employees in the HR management system and related programs. Responsible for the input of employee data and verifying entries against supporting documentation, executing basic reports or queries, and validating output against system data. Follows established procedures for the management of employee records or other related HR data. Transfers paper documents from multiple sources into digital format, uploading to the electronic personnel file system ensuring accurate indexing. Ensures compliance with university, state, federal and other regulatory rules, policies and procedures. Maintains a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality. Plays a crucial role in facilitating effective communication and service delivery within the HR department and to the university community.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Enter, update and maintain employee data in the HRIS system with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
2. Research and obtain additional information for incomplete or missing documents
3. Audit HRIS data regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance with compliance with university policies and procedures
4. Collaborate with cross functional HR team members as well as payroll, budget functions to ensure data integrity
5. Provide support to the HR team with administrative tasks and general inquiries related to employee records
6. Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
7. Collaborate with USG system office to troubleshoot system issues and escalate as needed
8. May assist with new employee orientation
9. Ensure relevant HR knowledgebase is current and accurate
10. Assist employees, including managers in understanding and applying HR policies and addressing inquiries related to HR processes, including net ID issues
11. Assist routinely with highly sensitive or confidential matters, while maintaining discretion as appropriate
12. Provide support to HR projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Associate's degree from an accredited institution of higher education or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Two (2) years of human resources or related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Preferred Experience
Higher education human resources experience
Experience managing HRIS platforms such as Peoplesoft, Workday or similar systems
Proposed Salary
The budgeted salary range is $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Offers are based on relevant experience.

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite and HRIS systems)
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
